I am learning it now but I think I would have learned it in my childhood. Now I am a strong believer that every child should know about saving and every parent should teach saving techniques to their child. If children will know the benefits of saving then they will start it in their early ages, which will be a great help in the future time. Recently a newspaper reported that a senior citizen sold his flat and deposited Rs27 lakh in a bank account held jointly by him and his son. Within a week, the son had withdrawn the entire amount without the father’s knowledge. When the father came to know about the withdrawal he was completely broken. This is not a single case. Now-a-days it has become a trend. Many a time we can get these types of news in the newspaper or from some other media. Some time it happenss with old father, sometime with old mother and sometime with any other old member of family. Why it happens? It is a big question. But just try to get the answer. There can be many reasons but I think lack of education and experience is the biggest reason behind it. A great percentage of our senior citizen population is illiterate. When I compared the US education system with our Indian education system, then I realized that there are huge deficiencies in our education system.                   Let me share the US education system with all of you, which I got to know fro m my friend. I was just thinking about our 21st. century. Being a future manager some questions pop-up in my mind - that what would be my job in the future? Let me start with a joke- A person went to a mechanic with his problematic car and he requested its trouble-shooting. The mechanic, after hearing the problem from the owner, thought for a moment, took a hammer and applied a soft stroke on the engine head of the car. On sensing a change in engine noise, the mechanic told the owner that the problem is rectified. Then he asked for a service charge of $10 from the owner. The owner was surprised on hearing the charge of $10 for a hammer stroke and expressed his resentment. The mechanic replied calmly, "Sir, I have not charged anything for the hammer stroke but charged for understanding where to strike, and behind this understanding is my expertise of 20 years". The Purpose of narrating the joke is that knowing the solution is always more important than its implementation and achievement of perfection depends on this knowledge.                     Let me start with a real life incident. Teachers in a school found a seven-year-old boy quite odd. Though he was well mannered and never got into fights, his answers were often seen as “different”. So the teachers tried their best to “educate” him. Teacher: What does the cow give us? Boy: The cow gives us cow dung. Teacher: That’s not a good answer. You should say “the cow gives us milk”. Boy: But why, Miss? Does the cow not give us dung? Teacher: Stop acting over-smart! Learning from my old Business

I always love to talk about my old business, which I have started in my college days. I had started “Mushroom Making”. It was really a tough job but I was making money through it so I was in love of growing it. Mushroom was very new in my hometown and only few knew about it. Initially I had to face a lot of problems to find and make my customers, but advertisement and with the help of customer it became easy to me. It was a plus point to me that I was the only player in this field, so the whole market was mine. It was continue for almost 2 years, it was really a profitable business, but due to some reason I had to stop my business. Now I am regretting for doing that. New option for the market

Yes we are growing. We are living in the developing country. Our businesses are also growing. Companies are capturing all the urban areas, and they are almost successful in it. But if companies want to improve their business then they will need new market and new customer. In the urban areas, which are already captured by many companies, it is very difficult to get a new customer. Then what will be the new option for the business to grow constantly. Yesterday I was watching a movie “Mahatma Gandhi”. In this movie Mahatma Gandhi was telling a man that “India leaves in villages.” So in my view villages and rural market will be new areas for business. India has traditionally been an agrarian economy. The burgeoning rural class holds over 70% of the Indian population is the most lucrative segment to take the mantle of growth. The lower class and rural population can create a new growth market and can increase the business level.

New jobs for CEOs in the year 2010

The challenges for a CEO are never easy in good years. The challenges will be sharper as CEOs try to guide their firms out of the 2009 economic situation. CEOs need to focus on three areas for a start.
